Position Information
Answering to the Healthcare Privacy and Security Officer, this position will administer and take an interest in the improvement, execution, and upkeep of a thorough and facilitated records the executives program over all divisions of the Department of Health Services (DHS). The officeholder will go about as an expert and asset for the office with respect to record support; and help with creating arrangements, methods, and work area manuals to compose, oversee, and secure customer data and other actually recognizable data of DHS customers in the paper and electronic structure. This position oversees Medical Records staff and will fill in as an asset to DHS the executives and staff with respect to wellbeing data the executive's laws, guidelines, and measures. Moreover, the position will likewise help with filling in as overseer of records for the Department of Health Services.
- The perfect competitor will be knowledgeable about the above regions of social insurance records the board and will have:
- Accreditation as a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) by the Health Information Management Association (AHIMA)
- Recognition with laws and guidelines in regards to wellbeing records the executives including record maintenance/demolition laws, HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and State security laws
- Related knowledge with Electronic Health Records Management
- Experience composing strategy, method and work area manuals
- Earlier supervisory or potentially the executive's experience
- Solid authority and persuasive aptitudes with the showed capacity to lead and impact adequately over various divisions
